 | Is a correction up ahead?
| | Aftermarket Business | Analysts who cover financial markets are always talking about "corrections," especially as they pertain to markets in distress. | | At the speed of right
| | Aftermarket Business | For those of you who think it's your God-given right to drive what you want, when you want, where you want and as fast as you want, this would be the time to get your thesaurus out to find every name in the book that you want to call me. | | Trademark battle stuck in park
| | Aftermarket Business | The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) appears nervous about the growing number of design patents it is awarding to auto manufacturers. Many of the patents cover collision parts, but the USPTO also grants design patents for items such as exterior mirrors and wheel covers, among other items sold in every auto aftermarket retail store in the U.S. The unease surfacing in the PTO was reflected during two meetings earlier this year when the floor was opened to discuss its policies on automotive design patents. |
